Parts, Assets, and Inventory Management – Barcode Scanning
Barcoding within Business Manager 365 is a very powerful tool. Within the Helpdesk and Service module, it allows for parts lookup so that employees can see the information that has been entered. They will find information regarding warranties, software loaded, hardware specifications, and opened or closed tickets. There is also the option to add parts to inventory and assign barcodes to new parts or equipment. Through the Client Portal, clients can open tickets, review tickets, review warranty information and configuration information all by scanning the barcode. The ability to change user information and location is also available simply by scanning the barcode.
